Care

Exercise

Being prone to obesity, the Labbe needs to exercises for at least of 30-45 minutes. However, they enjoy leash walking, brisk running, and jogging, but at times can be restless. The energy should release positively, so it is necessary for the dog to stay engrossed in some activity throughout the day. They inherit the love for swimming from the Labrador.

Grooming

Brushing needs to be done 2-3 times a week to do away with loose hair. Bathe them as and when required because too much bathing can dry their skin. Clean its ears, eyes, and teeth regularly and trim its nails 1-2 times a month if it does not wear down naturally.

Health Problems

Beagador supposedly inherits its parent’s health issues which include hip dysplasia, eye infection, patellar luxation, myopathy, bloating, skin problems, bacterial infections, glaucoma, cataracts and cold tail.

Training

Beagle lab mix needs a firm trainer because at times it can be stubborn which is an inheritance character of the Beagle. While training the pups, avoid being harsh and reward them with treats, encouragement, and praise. House training and socializing at an early stage is vital. Otherwise, it can become aggressive.

Feeding

If the dog gets an opportunity, they can eat all day, but it is the responsibility of the owner to prevent them from over-eating. 1.5 to 2.5 cups a day of dry kibbles splitting into two meals is essential for them, but it also depends on the lifestyle and age.
