Temperament & Personality

Border Beagle is a lovable and energetic dog which loves to be around its family. It is an excellent choice for first-time owners due to its ability to mingle with them. Border Beagles are friendly towards children but act timidly in front of other pets initially. They love to please their owners and crave for their attention. It is an excellent companion dog which only wants to keep its family happy.

Care

Exercise

Being a hyperactive dog, the Border Beagle requires lots of exercises to maintain fitness. Brisk walks, jogging, and visit a dog park for socializing with other pets and kids are recommended. If a properly fenced yard is available, the dog can be let to roam around freely in it without a leash.

Grooming

Border Beagle has minimal grooming requirements. Brushing the coat twice or thrice a day and bathing only its when dirty will keep them clean. Trim their nails when they are long and clean both the eyes and ears on a weekly basis prevents infection.

Training
