History
The Pomapoo is a cross between the Poodle and the Pomeranian. They can inherit typical physical features from any of their parents. Prominent features are the wedge-shaped head and a narrow muzzle. The coat length varies from short to medium, and the eyes are dark and bright. They may have a pair of upright ears or a set of floppy ears.

Temperament & Personality
The Pomapoo is an ideal toy dog for those who suffer from allergic issues. Their innocent and affectionate nature makes them a perfect family pet. They are good with the kids and can even make an ideal guard dog for the family.They do get anxious if left alone for a prolonged period.They tend to stay reserved around strangers.
Exercise
As they are small in size, so they don’t need an extreme level of activities. The little pups do need regular jogs, or short distance run for their overall holistic development. They adapt well in an apartment setup as they don’t need a huge space.
Grooming
Brushing the coat is advised once a week for pomapoo puppies. The rest is the primary care of keeping the nails trimmed, cleaning the ears carefully, maintaining a check on their dental problems, and cleaning the red stains in their eyes frequently.
Health Problems
This new breed does inherit some genetic disorders from its parents which are Allergies, Teeth/gum infections, etc. They might also inherit specific eye problems like Cataracts from their parents. Suggested occasional tests are Occasional blood count, Blood Chemistry, Physical and neurological exam, Complete ophthalmologic examination, Full body examination, and test.
Training
It is imperative to train and socialize the dog with humans and other animals from their puppy stage to avoid any aggressive behaviour from them in the future. This dog will need obedience training in its puppy stage.
Feeding
Dry kibbles will be an excellent choice for them, but by far the best option will be a dog brand listed as the ‘small bite.’ The dog will remain healthy when served a proportionate quantity of 2 cups of dog food per day.
