Temperament & Personality

Boggles are intelligent, faithful, kind and tolerant. They mix well in a big family where they have more people to interact. They are protective of the people they love and confident to take risks to ensure their owner’s safety. Moreover, these dogs hate being alone and become bored quickly. They also require attention and love from their owner. Speaking about children and other pets in a family, they remain well-behaved with them too.

Care

Exercise

Due to its hyperactive nature Boston Terrier Beagle mix require lots of exercises to remain calm and healthy. Jogging and long jumps are their favorite. They hate rains, so exposure to hot and humid climate is terrible for them. Regular stroll and play sessions in a fenced area are the best for a Boggle. It helps them in staying obedient and social.

Grooming

Their short and smooth hair does not require much grooming. Bathe them only when necessary to avoid skin problems. Constant checkup of the eyes and ears is essential for detection of any infection.

Health Problems

This mixed breed is resistant to many genetic diseases and eye infections. Common problems include spinal issues, dwarfism, cataract, deafness, and allergies.

Training

Boggles are strong-willed, so keep their training positive to shape their personality. This is why they need a firm and dominant owner who will guide them appropriately. Adequate socialization is vital to prevent small dog syndrome. Using a leash is recommended because these dogs are trackers and have chasing ability which would give the owner a hard time.
