History

The Corgipoo is a hybrid of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi and the Poodle. Because it is a mix of two purebreds, the origin of this dog is unknown.

Temperament & Personality

Corgi mix puppies are friendly and enjoy human company making them a good companion dog. It mingles well with people of all ages and creates a special bond with the family. The dog sometimes acts mischievously and it continuously tricks people. They are wary of their surroundings and behave cautiously around strangers.

Care

Exercise

They are highly energetic, so daily activities are essential for their well-being. Access to a fenced yard will be helpful where the dog can run freely.

Grooming

Since the Corgipoo does not shed a lot, brush its coat 2-3 times a day to prevent matting. Bath only when the dog gets dirty using a dog shampoo.

Health Problems

Although there are no known adverse health complications regarding the Corgipoo, consult a vet for a routine checkup.

Training

Teach the dog basic obedience and socialization skills. Praise it, offer treats and use other forms of positive methods. If there are any issues, opt for behavior classes.

Feeding

To stay healthy, a Corgipoo should eat half to one cup of dry kibbles on a regular basis. The amount of the food will vary depending on the size, age, and metabolism of the dog.
