Im very worried about our Labchow had him since he was six months he has lost a lot is weight and is very lethargic he is 10 year old. He has arthritis and Dan get up as he used to. He pees so much and pooping seems like a struggle taking him to the vet on a Monday so worried about him. He sleeps most of the day. He is still eating and drinking but cant seem to hold urine .. so sadden by this this will be our second dog to go soon . I cant do it after this Im broken
I had to put down my brother's lab/chow this week as he could no longer walk with severe hip problems. He was 13. My brother died last year of cancer. Bear dog was left behind. He was the kindest most loving dog I have ever known. He even carried kittens back to their mother. He will be sadly missed by all of us.

I must have been blessed when I had my lab chow Jenny Fur. She lived for 16 yrs 2 months and this coming July 9, 2020 she will be gone for 18 years. Every July 9th I go to where I buried her in 2002 and pay my respect to her for being such a wonderful true companion of mine. She started out as my baby and died as my great grandmother. I truly loved her and miss her dearly. Shes the one who taught me the meaning of Unconditional Love.
I was touched by your post of your dear friend Jenny Fur. I had a black lab (Shadow) who died April 7, 2020. Your description of Jenny Fur sums it all up. A certain part of our hearts will never heal in fond memory. I am recovering with my new Chow Labradore, Kelev. Saw your post researching his breed. Blessings to you and your fond memories.
