History
The Majorca shepherd is a pure Spanish breed used mainly as a shepherd dog. Their exact origin and history are still unknown. They have a clear head with a medium-sized muzzle. It has a black nose with round and small eyes, broad chest, muscular hind legs, short feet and an undocked tail. Some experts often compare this breed with the Basque shepherd dog and the Spanish Mastiff.

The Majorca shows its guarding instincts when it leads a pack of sheep where its leadership qualities emerge naturally. This breed is more suitable for experienced dog owners with a big yard or active singles.
